| A lifelong passion for all things related to a needle has finally developed beyond a dream into reality. Berryhill Heirlooms was created out of Susie Gay's love of needlework, sewing and collection of antique needlework tools (not to mention her dedication to making jam out of different luscious berries grown on the family homesite: hence the company's name). Susie's latest article in Sew Beautiful magazine, Issue 146 (Jan/Feb 2013) features her newest pattern (the Basic Yoke Baby Ensemble Pattern) and class (Simple Stitches). The Sweet Springtime A-Line Dress article (photo below) in Sew Beautiful March/April 2010 covers a new technique: released box pleats, also another class. The beautiful baby modeling the dress and bonnet is so sweet! You can purchase the kit for this lovely confection under "Kits" at left. The Covered & Padded Hanger Pattern and our wonderful wood hangers have been very popular since they were mentioned in the Feb/Mar 2009 issue of Sew News Magazine's "Making Connections" column written by Janet Klaer. Susie has also written several articles for Creative Needle Magazine and SAGA News.
