Lingerie and Jewelry Cases
Travel in style with these exquisite travel accessories: a Lingerie and Jewelry Case. These make traveling so much more elegant! The lovely cases are made from beautiful, elegant silks (black/white silk gingham and white dupioni) but could be made from any coordinating fabrics and trims. They sew up easily after completing the lace insertion and hand embroidered Lingerie and Jewelry words that are further decorated with silk ribbon embroidery and a few beads. The lingerie case is an envelope style with embroidered flap and buttons with an embellished, covered button. A ring roll, three zippered pockets and three open pockets will hold your lovely jewelry in the Jewelry Case. The ring roll snaps down with a fabric-covered snap (a technique not usually done in SAGA classes). Both cases are padded and piped. Machine techniques covered in class are: making piping, applying piping around corners, machine lace insertion application around curved corners, making a covered snap and button. Hand embroidery and silk ribbon stitches used are: chain stitch, single featherstitch, Japanese ribbon stitch, straight stitch, French knot, spider web rose, and lazy daisy.
