Covered & Padded Hanger Pattern
Our most popular pattern to date, this was featured in Sewing News Magazine's "Making Connections" column written by Janet Klaer (Feb/Mar 2009 ). The pattern can be used to make a covered hanger to fit the smallest Christening gown ensemble or an adult garment. It's fun, easy to do, and inexpensive using scraps of fabric, lace and ribbon and strips of batting. With a new wooden hanger from Berryhill Heirlooms (see our beautiful wood hanger in the Notions section) for the base, or recycling an old padded one (that's probably already in the closet) you can make beautiful accessories to match your latest handmades. Only your imagination limits the design possibilities!
This pattern contains fully illustrated instruction sheets, full size pattern sheets with additional decoration ideas including a madeira machine version, and a complete supply listing along with color photographs on the front and back covers.
