This is a notion you can't live without and makes folding, pressing and pinning up hems easy. It's made by Dritz and designed by Edna Bryte Bishop (famous for the Bishop method of clothing construction). The photo above shows the fabric folded up to the 2" line, ready for pressing. The other side is curved for curved hemlines. There are measuring devices (including metric) all around on both sides of this metal gauge. Use it anywhere you need to turn up fabric, and the corners can be used for some pockets, too. This gauge is useful to put under something you're pinning on your ironing board: it's a solid surface and you won't pin your ironing board cover. The Ezy-Hem Gauge saves time and effort. You won't regret buying one of these!
