23-24 March 2019: Teaching in Boston, MA for the Charles River Smockers is a joy! We worked on my Released Box Pleats Dress embroidered with Pink Lily of the Valley that was featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine.
12-13 April 2019: The ladies of the Carousel Smockers in Burlington, NC asked me to teach The Purse Reticule to them. It wasa pretty drive in the Spring and I always love teaching this unusual class!
21-23 June 2019: California Stitch-In in LaVerne, CA for the Smocking Arts Guild retreat on the West Coast. I'm taught my Beaded Strawberry Scissor Case and my Lingerie and Jewelry Case classes. Lots of silk ribbon work, detailed embroidery and beads along with beautiful silk fabrics. It was a great opportunity and a wonderful gathering of fellow stitchers!
7 Aug 2019: I was in New Jersey teaching for the Holly Berries Chapter. They learned my Beaded Strawberry Scissor Case, so we'll get to play with silk embroidery ribbon and beads. What can be more fun than that?
17-23 September 2019: Hold on to your hats...it's was the 40th Annual Smocking Arts Guild National Convention in Dallas Texas! I had a Market booth for this special event and took four different, wonderful classes (my turn to learn!). It was so much fun seeing old friends and making new ones.
5-10 Jan 2020: Stitching' at the Beach 2020 in Myrtle Beach, NC. I've been so fortunate to be on the faculty of this event for several years. This year was fantastic with a booth at market for most of the week and teaching classes. I hope to see everyone again next year!
12-13 Mar 2020: The Cardinal Chapter of Richmond, VA has asked me to teach short program on Faggoting (Bridging Stitch) for their monthly meeting. Then I will teach my Silk Ribbon Sampler Class the following day. This is going to be so enjoyable!
2 Apr 2020: I'll be teaching a short program to the Seaside Smockers Chapter in Virginia Beach on Dorset Buttons at their morning meeting.
30 Apr to 3 May 2020: I'm attending the Regional EGA Seminar in Gettysburg, PA to take two classes that I'm very excited about. I will also have a booth on Market night.
7-11 Oct 2020: The SAGA National Convention is in Pittsburg, PA this year. I will be able to take many of my goodies to sell because I will drive to the event. It's going to be another really fun time seeing wonderful friends and stitching and sewing for several days!
